Season's Greetings everyone,

I am procrastinating. No, I have writer's block. Yeah, that's it. Writer's block. That sounds better than procrastinating, doesn't it? I would like to know what you other writer's do to get over your writer's block? When you are looking at a blank screen or a blank sheet of paper, what do you do to get your words to flow? Do you free write? Do you create an outline? Draw a graph? Grab a latte or a cold beer? I would like to know what works for you.

Just before I posted this, I was staring at a blank Word document. The words simply weren't there. I am thinking of lying down and taking a nap. Maybe the words will come to me in a dream. You know, like Stephanie Meyer, the author of the mega hit Twilight. She got her idea for the teen love story from a dream!

Anyway, I'd be interested in hearing your stories about dealing with writer's block. Thanks.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Susan
